Anti-Aging Therapeutics Seminars, HGH and Hormone Replacement Therapy Information, Biomarkers for Aging
The evening workshop entitled Anti-Aging Therapeutics: The Anti-Aging Triad will take place in Orlando, Florida, April 8 at 6:30pm all attendees and vendors are welcome to attend. It is my intention to address modern concepts in anti-aging therapeutics, with a specific focus on what I have termed the Anti-Aging Triad of telomeres, stem cells and calorie restriction.
The Anti-Aging Triad is the title of my new book which will be launched at the April meeting and is available on an international basis. In the evening symposium I shall invite guest comments and short presentations. This will give a balanced perspective. It is my intention to express opinions on the real future of anti-aging medicine which is becoming increasingly evidence-based. Anti-aging medicine seeks evidence-based proposals to promote longevity. I propose “a triad” of interventions that are key targets in the future of anti-aging medicine. These proposals will ultimately supersede current “band aid” anti-aging initiatives such as hormone replacement therapies or standard esthetic interventions.
In the last two decades there has been expanding scientific research on the importance of telomere shortening as a biomarker of aging; and a confirmation of the role of calorie restriction in the enhancement of average and maximum lifespan. Stem cell sciences are emerging with promise for the management of chronic disease, new methods for organ production and specific actions on longevity promotion.
Hormone Replacement Therapies – HGH – The Human Growth Hormone
HGH and Hormone Replacement Therapy with bio-identical hormones is a very important treatment program that can also promote optimal health and wellness in those men and women experiencing symptoms due to menopause in women and andropause hypogonadism (male menopause) in men. Bio-identical (BHRT) – hormone replacement therapy for men and women has become a very effective tool in the fight against low hormonal health symptoms and conditions caused by menopause and hypogonadism, the male menopause. A hormone treatment program that replaces low testosterone levels and low human growth hormone levels can have a positive impact on a person’s health and quality of life. HGH and Testosterone Clinics with physicians that are hormone specialists can prescribe hormone injections and HGH replacement injections as part of the hormone therapy program. Skin care is a hot topic these days. With longer and hotter summers more and more people are exposing themselves to damaging their skin. Back in the 80’s people use to sunbath with baby oil. Now in 2010 those techniques have caused damage to the skin along with a number of other contributing factors.
If we knew now what we know today we could have reversed much of the damaged skin from our actions in the 80’s. However, despite this fact there are still people out there who continue to teach their skin badly.
Good skin care and healthy lifestyle choices can help delay the natural aging process and prevent many skin problems that occur today. Here are the top five tips to help skin care.

HGH Study Background: Patients with adult-onset growth hormone deficiency have reduced bone density and increased fat mass. Growth hormone at high doses may decrease body fat in these patients, and while benefits to muscle mass and bone density exist, the full effects of growth hormone at more physiologic doses on bone density and body composition have are yet to be shown.
Human growth hormone is a promising tool in treating cystic fibrosis, a new University of Connecticut study suggests.
Although HGH not a cure for the disease, which afflicts 30,000 people in the U.S., the researchers found that it reduced the number of hospitalizations among those who have the disease.
The study, published Monday in the journal Pediatrics, was produced by the UConn/Hartford Hospital Evidence-based Practice Center and was funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Continue reading →

WEDNESDAY, June 21 (HealthDay News) — Specific hormones may play a key role in longevity and healthy aging, two new studies suggest.
Researchers found one hormone, adiponectin, at higher-than-average concentrations in 100-year-old women, while
another study found that stimulating the body’s production of growth hormone brought a youthful pep back to people in
their 60s to 80s.
